Can I take an exam without taking the course?
The only way to access an exam is by taking the associated course. You can find courses that work for you on our Training Calendar. Please note that attending the class does not guarantee you will pass the exam. To be eligible for the exam, you must attend the course in its entirety.
How do I access my course exam?
To access your learning plan and exam:
Login to Studio. If you do not remember your password, click the "Forgot Password" link to receive a reset email.
Select Learn > My Learning from the tabs above.
Select "In Progress"
Select the class that you are looking for. You may have multiple In Progress.
The Exam is located at the bottom of the Learning Plan. Once your instructor has confirmed your attendance, you will be able to launch the exam.
All exams will be completed in QuestionMark, our exam provider, which is launched through the learning plan in Studio.
*Please note: there are no practice exams available
Can I take the exam in a different language from the one I took the course in?
Not at this time. Both the course materials and the exam are currently available in English only. Localization options will be added over time.
When does my exam expire?
Your first exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days after your instructor has confirmed your attendance. The 30-day exam window expires at 11:59 pm in the time zone listed on your account.. If you are not within the window for the Extension Policy, then a retake will need to be purchased to complete the exam.
To view your time zone, follow these steps:
Log in to Studio
Click your name in the upper-right corner
Click on Settings from the drop-down at your name in the upper right
Click on Preferences
Go to the Edit button at the bottom of the Preferences Section and you can adjust the locale and time zone.
Click Save and Close
What happens if I fail my exam?
If you don’t pass your exam on the first or second attempt, you may retake it by purchasing a retake. You can pay a $50 retake fee and retake the exam immediately.
If you don’t pass the retake exam, you may try a third time after a 10-day waiting period. The waiting period for a 4th attempt and any additional attempts is 30 days.
You can purchase an exam retake within your Learning Plan. The ‘retake’ button will be located next to your exam. Clicking this button will take you to our payment platform, where you can purchase your retake exam.
What is the retake policy for exams?
The following applies to all AI-Native exams:
If a certification exam is not successfully completed on the first attempt, there is no waiting period before taking the exam a second time.
If a certification exam is not successfully completed on the second attempt, there is no waiting period before taking the exam a third time
A second attempt (or first retake) of an exam can be taken immediately after the first attempt at no additional cost.
A third attempt can be done immediately after the second attempt for a fee.*
A fourth attempt requires a 10-day wait before the exam can be retaken for a fee*
A fifth attempt requires a 30-day wait before the exam can be retaken for a fee.*
Once an exam is successfully completed, retaking it is not allowed. The candidate may not take the same exam again, unless there has been an announced update to the exam.
Once you pay the retake fee, you'll have access to take the exam based on the number of previous exam attempts. However, there is no deadline for a retake as long as the exam is still offered.
